BTCA-HEART is dedicated to educating the public about Bedlington Terriers, rescuing those in need and improving the lives of our current and future Bedlingtons.
Leo, rescued and rehomed Secure in his Forever Home Thank you Mary and Robert for loving Leo.
In early July, 2010 HEART received an
e-mail from a city worker in Sacramento,
CA that there was a Bedlington
mix in the city kill shelter. It took
one phone call from Lisa Clarkson to Pat Mills.
Within a few hours, Leo was being fostered at Pat’s home, just north of Sacramento.
Within a day Mary and Robert of San Juan Capistrano had
committed to have Leo join their family.
Getting from northern California
to southern was a breeze. Pat and
another friend going to a dog show got Leo as far as Simi Valley where he was picked up by his new
family.
Leo is a little boy, weighing
about 10 lbs. Somehow he has emerged as
leader of his new pack. Leo is seen here
with his new step-brothers and duck cousin.
He has a beautiful yard to play in and loving parents. He hasn’t been swimming yet but who knows
what the future holds for this lucky boy.
